This *mainly* affects our theatre aspect, but it will also involve the film series.
The South Devon Players theatre company, Brixham stage production of "Survivors of the Titanic" (plus to a smaller extent, Zorro, and the Les Mis film series) will be part of a study by professors at Exeter University, they will be looking at our production process, ethos and modus-operandi. A very nice lady from the University will be in attendance at auditions, some rehearsals and one of the performance. She is also coming to see Zorro, and one of our film shoots for Les Miserables. Members will also probably be asked for volunteers to be interviewed about Titanic, Zorro and Les Mis. Interviews are not mandatory, only volunteer if you are really happy to chat. The study is funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council. We are going to be one of their main case studies. Nothing will intrude upon members or what is happening - in academic parlance, her presence will be as an overt (so openly declared) passive (not interfering) observer.
With regards to the film series, she will probably attend a rehearsal or production meeting and one of the film shoots for the trailer.

Most principal roles have been cast, but we will be putting out calls for extras and supporting actors nearer the time. Please follow our facebook page, or join our newsletter to be alerted as soon as we are holding castings for supporting roles. __________________________________________________ Les Miserables: The web-film series, is a non-profit, crowdfunded film series which starts filming in 2015, for internet broadcast on Youtube, Vimeo, etc. This is a 20 part series, which will dramatise, as far as is possible, Victor Hugo's original unabridged novel, word for word.
Please be aware that while we are best known for theatre productions, this is a film series.
This is a project from the South Devon Players, who are an awardwinning theatre (and now film!) group from Brixham in Devon. Founded in 2005, we specialise in historical dramas, and following the blow-away success of our stage production (again written from the book by Laura J, so not the musical!) in 2013, a group of our members have started this project.

I will dig out a big French tricolor flag I have from our 2013 Les Mis stage show and bring it as a table cloth, so that you can find us easily.
